LYKKELAND ateliér was founded in 2022 by designer and creative visionary Heidie Lykke.
With many years of experience in the fashion industry, Heidie has, since 2008, worked to redefine the perception of what we call curvy fashion.
With LYKKELAND ateliér, her ambition is to challenge conventions, champion diversity, celebrate individuality, and encourage every woman to embrace herself — and her body.

MANUFACTURED WITH CARE
We work with high-end Italian yarns that combine strength, elasticity, and a refined, luxurious finish. The materials are breathable and naturally resistant to bacteria, ensuring comfort, freshness, and a fit that stays beautiful wash after wash.
All yarns used for our shapewear and seamless styles are responsibly sourced and imported from Italy and are certified. Our production partner within these categories is LEED-certified, reflecting our commitment to responsible manufacturing.

OUR PARTNERS
We’ve chosen to move a large part of our production to Europe, where we have full insight into every step of the process. The higher labour costs are balanced by low-impact, high-quality materials with a longer lifespan, reduced transport resources, and — most importantly — a better feeling in the stomach.
Our jersey products and shapewear are produced in Portugal and Turkey. It was important for us to find skilled manufacturers close to Denmark, allowing for close collaboration and the confidence that every piece is made responsibly and with care.
Production of our Lyocell and recycled polyester pieces takes place through a Danish sourcing partner with an office in Shanghai. They regularly visit and audit our business partners to ensure that production is carried out under proper working and living conditions — including compliance with CSR standard SA8000.
